This may sound ridiculous - Lens hood?

I can't seem to find this in the manual - How do I take the lens hood off? When I try to twist, I feel like I'm going to break something..

Facing the lens, rotate counter-clockwise.

What Mike said. And just do it. It won't break.

I was hesitant for a day or so until I needed to put the UV filter on. It's a little reluctant but comes off.

Just remember to press equally hard when you put it back on. Otherwise it won't snap on and will rotate at bad times.

My lens hood keeps falling off with the UV filter on. Any suggestions?

Yeah you need to snap it into place. Needs a bit of force to lock in

i use a slim UV Filter... no problems
