This is Weird!

A widescreen DVD should play just fine on a 4:3 TV if the DVD player is set up correctly. You just have to account for the difference in black.

Thanks for the support guys, but I really think it's the T.V. I took the same DVD and went to a friend's house, played it on his T.V which is about 3 years old and it plays fine with no grey bars. My T.V is older than 15 years... But what confuses me, is when I put the movie "Scream" on, it plays fine with no grey bars.

In conclusion, I just croped my footage to 16:9 in vegas and just rendered it as 4:3 then broughg it into DVD Architect as a Widescreen project. I don't have that true 2.35:1 Aspect ratio when viewing it but it has the black bars.

And to answer your question Dave, I did not shoot in letter box.

I decided to play it safe and do the final project the way I just described, I don't want people I've sold the movie to to come back and say they see grey bars, who knows I may not be the only one with a old T.V.

I just prey to god when I get the Anamorphic Adapter next year I have no problems like this. Eventually I'd love to get that true 2.35:1 Aspect ratio it just looks so cool.

Ok Thanks again for all the help.
