Yeah, what a surprise...
About one month ago, I was playing with different cameras at ADCOM showroom in Italy, when I saw an extraordinary tool: a slider!
I have purchased the best of them on the market: Kessler (Cineslider + Oracle and others), Cinevate, etc. but this one, thanks to its build quality (terrific!) and its fluidity, it seemeds to be the best.

"I definitely contact them!" I said.
I met Andrea Falcucci (Smart System owner) first in Parma (the place where I live), then, I went to Fano to see with my eyes the whole production process (wow!).
Now, I'm using the SmartSlider Pro 800, in all my work and also during my seminars, and I love it.

Specs:
- Innovative bearing system able to minimize the friction.
- Structure made of Aluminium and chrome steel to support heavy loads (20 Kg. max) and minimize the rail banding.
- It can be held through two stands connected to 5/8 holes placed on the sides, or through two tripods.
- Central Fixing compatible with the most popular video plates (also for those ones equipped with anti-rotation pivot).
- Conical adjustment feet.
- Interconnection removable Plate.
- Service brake.
- Available in different sizes.

News:
For SmartSlider Pro series, the optional motor with control and touch screen display will be ready in two months.
For the same series, there will be a support for the Manfrotto 529B Hi Hat.
Conclusion:
What can I say, I'm still incredulous to have found this quality without compromising, a very big deal for film makers; I'm even more incredulous, when I see that prices are similar to very inferior products on the market.
Smart System, is only sliders, the flagship product is the terrific SmartCAM Matrix Sled 2011
