This is amazing

I understand all too well that magic is simply Sleight of Hand but that is undeniably amazing

How ? The last Glitter shot was stupifying

That's pretty wild, man.
Jason
In the part with the hula hoop thing around her you can see the bottom of her dress become green. Its wild

I worked at a NBC station this summer, so I saw most of "America's Got Talent" while working.
They did the same set - with slightly different outfits - every time they appeard on the show.

I recorded one of their performances and then took it back to the edit suite for some frame-by-frame analasys.

They are insanly fast, and more importnatly, *VERY* accurate & precise. There is only a frame or two of slop in teh timing for many of the changes.

That beeing said, here's my take on how they do it:
First off, I'll bet the dresses arnt' very comfterble, and they are obviosuly very carefully rigged and prepared.
1) The first (blue) dress has the red one under it. Inside the "bag" she pulls a rip-cord and the blue dress drops off and is hidden inside the cloth when teh bag is dropped.
2) The yellow dress is also on under the red one. In the episode I taped it flashed under teh red one as she steped out of the bag. As she steps behind the screen you see her left arm reach back to pull off the red dress, revealing the smaller yellow as she steps through.
3) (this one is my favorate) I think the green dress held up by the guy is a fake, double. I think she is also still wearign the actual green dress under the yellow (so from the start). When the gold bag goes up, she just drops the fake and then looses the yellow one to relveal the real green one she is wearing.
4) the purple one is the green one inside out! As she holds up the hoop, you see the guy reach behind her and pull a release for her. This breaks away her green shoulder straps allowing the dress fo fold down leavign the purple inside out and new purple straps outside.
- His change - They didn't do this on the one I recorded, but it's only one change, so should be a simple drop the top layer.
5) As she gets wrapped in the red cloth, you see her reach up to her chest to pull a release, I think this is teh same trick as #4 where the top of her dress drops down over the lower section. Each section dropping down makes her skirt longer again. You see the dress is still falling as we see the bottom of her black skirt flash under during the last pass of the red cloth.
6) exactly the same as #5. The same reach up and then the dress gets longer as more drops from her top to the bottom.
7) once more the same trick again, just with a different (and distracting) cover. her hand is in plain view in place to pull the last relase as the glitter falls her should erstraps give way again allowing the last drop of the dress. In one version of the show you can see the hem of the red dress under the white one as she does a pirrouette.

All VERY well excecuted, and one slight faliure with her costume would blow the whoel performance. But after she drops the first few layers, and uses the decoy dress, it's the same dress that jsut keeps dropping down over itself to reveal another layer.

Am I right? I don't know. But that's my theory behind this fantastic show.

thats got to take a massive amount of practicing. So....do these two have any other rutines?

I doubt it.

They where on the show 3 or 4 times, and despite beeing told to mix it up by the judges, they did the same routine each time.
