This could be a very cool EVF

And look at the cameras in their target market. Many viewfinders for ENG cameras are 12 grand area so you should expect the price of these to be in this region and possibly more expensive.

It may be expensive(we are speculating that it will be, but as of yet there has not been a exact price) but you have to admit it is cool.

For me a lot of the bases seem to have been covered with this EVF.

As far as costs go what is it worth to you to have a professional viewfinder and a camera loaded with the proper bits?

It never hurts to raise your game and reach a little higher.

Aspiration helps to drive our industry.

After all we wouldn't be reading these posts if we weren't trying to be better and learn more about our tools that we use.

Some may aspire to provide equipment that is just a little bit better than the average and some don't.

That decision is up to the individual and their own market.

So let's not be too quick to poo poo something based on what it might cost.

Let's learn and keep the information flowing.

if you are a multiple camera owner, or even a rental house, this view finder makes sense. instead of having to buy proprietary viewfinders that work with only one camera, this can be the universal one, at the highest quality to boot. it makes things a LOT easier when things have to go in for maintenance and repair. they can just go to one place instead of organizing a few places when multiple units needs maintenance. It's design looks to be a future proofing option to work with camera systems for the next few years.

and having a full raster 1080p viewfinder is expensive and specialized. But I can almost guarantee after looking into something that sharp you're probably not gonna want any other viewfinder again... the price isn't for everybody, it's for the big players in the camera market.
