Third-party battery doesnt work with hack?

Not sure if I'm missing something but I ticked third-party battery in ptool 3.36, and it doesnt work. New battery is fully charged, applied the new firmware, put in the new battery and no power. All the other options I ticked are working perfect. I'm trying to use a Lenmar DLPBLB13 battery from amazon, is there another option I have to tick or a different way I have to start the camera?

The option works just fine with my third party battery I bought the week the GF1 came out. It didn't work the week I bought it so I almost threw it away thinking it would never work. Glad I kept it now because I have 3 batteries.

Make sure you are not trying to apply the firmware with the third party battery in the camera. Maybe the battery is defective. You do get what you pay for, right?
