FS7: Third Party Battery after firmware update

We have a bunch of Vivitar SB-U90 batteries that work great on the FS7. We did get the error of the "time/date" having to be reset when using these on the FS5 like some have reported. I'm hoping the new FS7 firmware does not introduce this error with these batteries.
Has anyone tried " working " third party batteries after the update? Any problems?

No problem using swit sbu-83s on my fs7 with v3.0 - not sure about vivitar, but imagine they'll be fine. Seems like the huge overall improvement of 3.0 would be worth doing anyway, even if it means buying some swit batteries, no?

Thanks for checking. Trying them on our FS5, and getting that "time/date reset error" made me a bit worried too.
