Just to let you all know, I have tried 2 different well respected 3 Rd
Party batts and they only lasted 45 minutes, cutting off at about 60% empty on the px270

Verzap,

I have a few of the IKAN batteries and will do a run time test to see how long the camera can record. Hopefully in the next few days.

Just a follow up. Charged the ikan IBD-D88 battery, using a ikan charger. Ran a test recording and just let it run on a clock (was too busy to move it allot). I got a total of 4.5 hours, before the battery icon started flashing. I ordered another one yesterday, this look great. Same price as panny battery and the locking system seems sturdy. B&H was the best price Amazon was next best. Well see how long the battery works after a few months, so far I am pleased.

So just had a job last night. Ran 2 hours, using both XLR, and remote control units feeding a ext monitor also with LCD open. 2 full bars left only 2 bars used. Very HAppy

The camera uses 19.5 W with the LCD on, which is about 1.5x - 2x of what a typical 7.2V camera uses. This explains why a standard CGA-D54 battery (about 38WH) can only power it for about 1.5 hours continuously. It is really stressed out. The Lenmars are actually good batteries as they deliver what their label promises. Many 3d party batteries do not, and under stress they fail even faster.
