I mainly use my XH A1 for music videos but lately I've been incredibly impressed with the 5D. Do you think it would be worth it to attempt to trade, and if so, would anyone even bite?

i just sold my xha1s and bought a 5D

took a while though
 
Do a completed listings search on ebay to determine what your camera is worth. Then you can figure out how much you will have to play with. You might be better off with a 7D. I recommend starting out with pentax super takumar or pre-ai nikon primes. They are super cheap, look great, and really well built. Get a cheap korean "gini" shoulder rig, a z-finder, ND, polarizer, CF cards, spare batteries, and you're good to go.
