Thinking of buying an HVX, finally! Questions.

Really? I was thinking that, but I read in ASC that Savides used a Magenta CC filter (20) to compensate for the Viper's green-bias (I know, I know... that's the Viper). While I was CC'ing the only film I've shot with an HVX (+ PS Adapter), I noticed how much green-bias there was in the straight-out-of -camera footage.

Any thoughts/recommendations on how much of a Chroma Phase tweak (even personal opinion)?

The HVX isn't that green though. Perhaps your lenses were adding a touch of green?

I haven't really noticed mine being biased towards green; if it is, it's extremely subtle. Phase ranges from +7 to -7, so best thing to do would be to shoot a color chart and watch the results on a vectorscope, and adjust to taste.
 
I hope it wasn't the lenses, that'd be bad news for Panavision.

I'll do that, when/if I get the HVX. But what are the chips' R G B values, green has the highest percentage, correct?
