Thinking About Upgrading to HPX300

B&H has it priced for like $8500 before an $800 mail in rebate. My question is, I can't find anywhere that mentions whether that price includes a lens or not? Is the HPX body by itself $8500 or does that include the fuji lens?

Actually, it is cheaper than that from B&H.... You can get it for $7,799.95. And then get an $800 rebate from Panasonic... Making it just below $7K... And, yes it comes with the lens

I am working on a deal with Jasmine Moore right now and they have done a wonderful job of matching the BH price. I am going to buy a package from them tomorrow. They are a great company and have earned my business. They are a smaller company to and I like to support folks like that.

Good Luck!
BTW-Yes the HPX300 includes the lens

See, this is tempting both Barry and me. That is such a screaming deal. If only I hadn't spent all of my money and then some on this stupid house remodel I am in the middle of! The good news is I don't see the price of the 300 increasing, although the rebate will go away. Does anyone know how long the rebate lasts for?

I just adjusted the price of the HPX I have for sale on my latest thread. $7,000 includes two 32Gig E Series cards. About $1,200 savings.

If I could feel comfortable with this camera shooting 1080x24p I would buy it tomorrow (Beards and Hats doesn't sell till sundown). If I thought 25p would help, I would pay for the upgrade.

Gary, is the 5 year warranty transferable?

25p does not give any visible improvement as apposed to 24p concerning RS effects at least I could not see it at all.

I believe I paid around $8600, no rebate.
Guess that's what you get for believing in a product instead of waiting for everyone else to find it's flaws first.
At least the camera has been great, but it would be nice if the manufactures would give the early buyers a break, after all we are the guinea pigs for them.

Get the deal while it's on, $7000 out the door is great.

Barry you should buy one, of all people. Then you could write a book on it and I can buy that!
