GH4 Think this will work as a field monitor for my gimbal

you can get the neewer dc-50 which you can place it on top of the gimbal and it's just $127.
 
I wouldn't buy that. There is no battery plate for it. It probably won't support 24htz as well. "Buy cheap, buy twice" is going to bite you on this one. If you want a good monitor that is video specific maybe look for a used Marshall or Ikan 5 inch monitor. I have the Marshall 5 in and it supports the 24htz and my Ikan 7 inch does as well. Plus, you will get peaking and false color with a better monitor.

The one you show, you're going to have to supply power to it via AC plug in.
