Thin?

I was trying to adjust the V-Detail in F1 on my DVX-100A tonight. It says "thin" in blue and won't let me adjust it. Actually it does that in 1F-4. Isn't it supposed to be adjustable? I thought the default was supposed to be "thick" according to this site: http://eyejazz.com/DVX100/settings_chart.pdf

What do you think would be best for shooting for the web?

Never mind. I just found the answer on page 65 of Barry's book. It's not adjustable when you're shooting regular 30 frames. Thanks Barry!
