I'm shooting a short film tomorrow for internet (.mpg,.mov), mini-DV, DVD, and VHS. I don't think I'll get the funds to blow it up to film. Still, I want it to look very cinematic. I'm using the DV-FILM (Austin, TX) settings for blow-up to 35mm, but since it's not going to end up on film... would I get a better image by switching from THIN to MID? Why/Why not?

p.s. -- My DP just called me and told me he has just taken ill and the shoot is tomorrow! ;-( He's not sure he can make it so if you guys could say a little prayer to the DV GOD that he might get better in time I'd be forever greatful!
