Thin, Light and Durable XLR Cable

I've got an adapter that gives me the option of hard wiring my Lectrosonics lav when conditions demand it. I'm totally portable, so weight is really important to me. Anyone know of any super thin, light and tough as nails XLR cables? I'll need a 15 to 20 footer...always a talking head close to the camera.

im not sure that 'thin' and XLR were really meant to play in the same sandbox together. a quick amazon search doesn't turn up much

The last time I tried to use a soldering gun, I hurt myself. ;) Know of anyone who would build me one using the cable Rick just mentioned?

Darren, I couldn't find anything either. I found some HyperThin HDMI cables (by Sanho) that are really nice but nothing XLR.

Markertek can build practically any cable you can think of. Most of the cables in their catalog and web site are built in-house. http://www.markertek.com/cableshop.asp FWIW, Markertek is in the Woodstock NY area.
The usual suspect location sound shops would gladly build you a cable as well. On a more personal level, Eric Toline, over at the JW sound group, builds nice cables as well. www.soundgroup.net

I just weighted a 25' AT8314 XLR cable at 426g. I think they are light and thin, but you might not. They've got a great reputation, Neutrik connectors, coil and uncoil well, and they aren't very expensive. What's not to like?

My audio cables use a thin 'Star Quad' cable with Neutric plugs:

It's light and relatively thin - so much so that one Production Manager sniffed at it and got his Audio head of department in to berate me on my poor kit. Ha. It's top notch stuff. Doesn't 'lie down' as well as the heavier gauge rubber coated cables, but coils up neatly to about a hand-span and a 3 Meter run wodges into the camera bag nicely.
