I filmed my cat for you sir. Hopefully this changes your views on the Panasonic GH cameras. (view in 1080p!)
Panasonic GH2 1080p24 in Nostalgic mode.
Eye colour change in after effects, colour correction in after effects.
f = 6.8 (14-140 lens)
SS = 1/30
I think this is as good as any 7D footage and i attempted to show you that you are able to change the colours to whatever you like;)

PS: she has green eyes.
 
Honestly, I'm still a bit stuck on wether either camera truly outputs more resolution than the other. It may be my computer or it may be that Vimeo downgrades the downloadable files a bit even if someone has a plus account, but when I download the original files and watch them, I'm not sure that anything looks much better at full rez (or even downrez'd 720P) and it's still that "exactly half rez" point where things start looking realistic for me. I really pay attention to things like wood, hair, shirts, and textures and to me, these videos don't display those things realistically until again, it's downrez'd in half. I want to say that things like metal and buildings and things benefit from the Gh2 just a bit but again, while I still want a Gh2 for more features and a tad better quality, I'm still battling wether I'm truly going to get any more resolution out of these cameras in the end.
