TheatreGuy's "ID"

Cool to know! Now that you say that, I believe it says "BATES" on the side of the plug. (doh!)

And that is interesting info on the AC/DC ratings. Never knew that.

I must admit, that have learned everyting I know by working and doing. I didn't have the opportunity to go to school... Mr. OJT!

Thanks for the info. Please continue to visit and enlighten me!

Ted

Good stuff, Ted. Look forward to seeing your entry.

(I grew up a Dodger and Red Sox fan. Yaz was one of my favorite players. And even though they lost, the Red Sox played in the most exciting World Series I ever saw...Red Sox vs. Reds.)

loved your bts Ted, gave me some pretty cool ideas for future projects!! nice house by the way, seems we're not the only ones who film in our places all the time...

viewer: 'haven't I seen this appartment before?'

[at least I move the furniture around all the time to fool them...]

LMAO!!! That's funny.

Well, it only seems to make sense to shoot in my home if it is sutible. It works and I am close to home!!! Plus, I've got that barn full of tools, theatre props, and crap to pull off whatever I need! Obviously, you have seen my ladders come in handy more than once!

In the future, after making this first film, I will have a much better understanding of what I need (equipment-wise) and can pack my van accordingly!

Cool shot of the lady in the corner. The BTS is crazy ghetto style film making at it finest.
Yeah, I am happy with some of my basement footage. And ghetto is getting me by!

All this stuff is looking very cool man. It looks like your DVX is getting itself into some precarious positions. Thats what its for though!

really looking forward to watching this.

You need to patent the ladder and pass it off as a tripod for really, heavy, heavy
items. Looking forward to the show.

HA HA! Yeah, I can market that ladder as the Du-All! "It can elevate your camera, support your crane, hang your lights and get the cat out of the tree! The all-in-one must have on every set!"

Thanks for the kind words.

And Weston... believe me, my DVX is secure before my hands leave it! Seriously. I'm daring but not stupid. Even on the floor when on the rails... it is gaff taped to the floor.

Haha, not wrong at all. I'm a hippy at heart. If it feels good, go for it!

Where is your production at, BTW?

A little bit here.... A little bit there.... A little bit in my head still...

It's coming along. I love my idea. Hopefully others will as well... A nice little psyco-thriller with horror elements.

Learning that matching shots (color-wise) is difficult. Shooting in one direction (into the shade) and then the other (into the light) is challanging.

I hope that I have time to explore with color correction!

If I become the "new Movie Master..." please, someone shut off my internet connection!

I found Movie Master's repartee interesting at first... but got tired of the broken record.

I like information.
