Hey Guys,

Here is something I would like to share with you. I filmed a dance based theatre show and am now editing a reel / demo for them to send out for grant applications. I am liking how it is turning out, and would appreciate any feedback and or comments.
I have most of it done, I am just looking for a way to finish it all up.

I've realized I haven't put much of the story into the demo (although it is dance based, so the story is pretty interpretational) but more story could be better.

Anyways ... your thoughts!

edit: do I need to make a QT6 version for most of you guys to see?

A pleasure to watch. Nice transitions, music, and shots. An incredible demo and I can't think of anything that should be changed.

Good job.

Ok, I like the idea of the boxes, but I think the time between different shots is to slow. The dances seem more upbeat and it seems that you are just bogging it down. Also I like that you tryed to use the song from Closer, I love the move and can kind of seen how it would go along with the dance. But try some more up beat music. Also like I said I like the boxes but maybe half way through you go into some full screen shots tight on the dancers let there movements make transistions into other shots. I think if you just let it flow faster it wont seem so bog down.

Imagentertainment,

That is what I was thinking about the pace. I was thinking cutting to some full screen shots to speed it up a little. The thing about the song is that the director chose it, and I have to use it. The song seems really chill, so that's how I started out. There are a few more pieces I need to put in there, so I will probably go with what you are saying, and cut to some full screen stuff.
I'll have to go through it to see if there is something halfway through I can do to give it a little 'kick'.

Thanks for the feedback!
