The Walkmen in 24p

AV Squad traveled to Harlem, New York City, to visit The Walkmen at their business, Marcata Recording. There, bass player, Peter Bauer, and keyboardst, Walt Martin, described how their operation is run and what it's like to record there. The duo also talked about their reasoning to license their song "We've Been Had" to Saturn Cars.

The following package was filmed with the Panasonic DVX100 set to 24p Normal (F5). The subjects were lit with 1-ARRI 650 and 2-ARRI 300+ fresnels. Audio was gathered with 1-Sennheisser me66/k6 shotgun mic mounted on a stand (at a 45-degree angle) directly below the subject and 1-Azden WLX-Pro wireless lavaliere. Both channels were later mixed in post. The clip was compressed with Sorenson Squeeze.
