The Vaudeville Show

Hey all, again

Now that Jour 455 is over, i started working on the next project, but this one is related to school. It is called The Vaudeville show, which is about a loveable stage character named Mr. Nice, who charms the audience night after night, only to be seen backstage as a womanizer, abusive, and all that jazz. The crew decides to get back at him during his finale and they get their closure.

i've played around with the highlights so as to avoid them clipping directly to white. Diffusion from magic bullet, so that it only affects the highlights and gently clips them. Gives more of a film edge, without diffusing the entire image

Looks great! Concordia eh? You're just in Montreal? Not too far from Toronto.

Hey, is this the project you were talking about that involved the long Glidecam shot at the beginning? I've been looking forward to seeing that!

great looking footage papa.
really like the steadycam shot although i think that focus was a bit off sometimes... but nevertheless very nice!

did you use a special a1 custom preset and if yes could you please tell me the settings. :)

the focus was definitely off at some points, but we had to find an appropriate focus mark to keep throughout the shot as we couldnt rack.

o.k...which steadycam did you use?
and what about the settings... don't want to tell them?! :D please do it (via pm! ^^)

Holy crap, this actor looks sadistic (tell him to take that pic to casting sessions!). Man that one grab screams quality to me. The whole things looks superb.

Please, please pm me when you're done as I forget what I did five minutes ago.

the color grading is just a test,. but we wil be going for a nice rich and warm coloring.

Very cool looking, Papa. The grab TMNT referred to has a little bit of a David Lynch feel to it.
