The ultimate FS100 rig! (for me!)

Nice rig Jean. But a good solid top handle would be in order IMHO.

What are you using for your lens donut/hood?

The matte box is a indian one, Cinecity. I bought it several years ago. They have changed their product numbers since, but I think it is similar to the current MB700. The donut is home made but greatly inspired from the Zacuto one: http://store.zacuto.com/universal-donut.html

I went to a fabric store and bought a piece of what they called "black out". It's a thin fabric that block the light completely. I also purchased some elastic band for a total of 6$. Then my mother-in-law kindly sewn all according to my specifications. At that time the Zacuto donut was selling 95$. It is now 40$. I think you should just bought the Zacuto one.

Definitly! I just not found the right one yet. I don't like the C cage like yours (don't know the real term) because it makes the rig protude on the right side too much. A friend of mine bought the pistol grip and we both agreed that it was less than perfect for many reasons.

Great rig,
I try to achief about the same kind of rig but with totally different parts. I only want a place for a cam-light and a senheiser reciever.

To bad so many important buttons are on the back of the camera.
I rather had the ablity to have the shoulderpart more to the front.
What is you experience on this?

I also think your rig is pretty high on the baseplate. I think it is better to keep it low as possible. I might have a solution for it but I have to wait for my parts.
I expect to get my last berkey system parts to be here any moment.
