"The Third Testament" shot on RED

Here is the first non-official trailer for a feature we shot this winter for writer/director Matt Dallmann. Some of the shots are really dark and have to be fixed but I think he did a great job with the edit for this. We just have to tweak the dark images. Shot on Jean Grey, our RED with Zeiss ZFs.

Looks good Beat. Interesting concept for a story. I'm curious about what this third testament is and how it's played out. The guy at the end in the orange prison garb leads me to think he's the psycho in the story, or at least an overzealous 'believer'. Interesting. Sounds like a cool short.

The trailer looks pretty cool. I really like the idea of alternate histories, so this one really sparks my imagination. I'll look forward to seeing the feature.

Speaking of which, do you guys need any help with the post sound?

Great trailer. I'm definitely interested. The only thing that I would comment on would be the part where she yells "Where's my husband", it might just be the audio that makes it jarring... might go better more towards the end, maybe, after the blurp on Jacob? Just a thought.

The faux doc style I think works great for the content, makes it feel real. Did the faux doc style also appeal to you guys to keep production costs down?

I believe Matt shot this faux doc style to keep costs down. We recycled a lot of locations also to make them look like other places. The whole prison scene was shot in an office but we cheated angles and such to seem like a visiting room.
