I produced a film that my friend Davey Davis (real name I swear), wrote and directed.
I'm also an actor in the film as well as a cam op in the teaser scene below. I suppose I did a bit of everything.
It's based on Mozart's Don Giovanni and follows a drama involving Hipsters, Anarchists and Bike Punks getting caught up in the antics of our lead character, Giovanni.
We shot every weekend in November and during that time we saw the weather change from fall to winter. Luckily we never scheduled the same location on different days so it should look rather consistent when we finally put it together.
We shot mostly on the HVX200 for the dialogue scenes and some mountain bike action. We also used a Canon Rebel T1i for specialty shots and nighttime footage.
We're hoping to screen the film to Bike communities around the country as well as enter in Salt Lake's Bicycle film festival.
Before the final cut, you can view this teaser we put together.

Enjoy.
