In post production on this one...
Filmed the first 12-15 minutes of this feature script. Hoping to use an edit
of that + our 1st feature + our 2 shorts to get an investor.

We'll show a "work in progress" edit at the New Bern (NC) Independent Filmmakers' Conference on March 30-31.

Grabs for now - definitely clips later to get your honest opinions and suggestions...

Yeah - colonial North Carolina.

Shot these out near Bath county (just north of the middle of nowhere).
Actually had a 2-DVX camera shoot for that whole weekend.

We couldn't get hardcore period detail for everything, but we got it in a few places that really count. I'll post some of the stills from the next day of shooting (this was all back in August) when we spent 7 hours on horseback!

Awesome! I LOVE that time period. Good stuff! :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

Thanks.

I must have missed this, but: why "Future" DVXuser?

Are you *from* the future and using a DVX there? If so, is it true that everyone will wear jumpsuits and drive pod cars...cuz that would be too cool.

Shoulda' mentioned - - if anyone happens to know an investor-type person who is a colonial-era nut...point him/her/them/Mr. Trump my way.

I can't give much away, but our story has an interesting/controversial historical social issue...

Cool Tex. Can't wait to see the rough edit for "Spectre". Speaking of which, Brigham, how's that going? I'll keep beating the bushes for an investor out here in LA...
