The Silent City, short film now online... in HD too!

This is my review posted back in Feb 17, 2007 on DVinfo.

Almost exactly a year ago...

INTENSE! I loved it. The CG effects were fantastic! The opening CG was a little much, but the rest was very well done. The pacing was perfect, and I love a movie that doesn't spell everything out for you.

Leaving questions to be pondered after the viewing... loved it!

Really great atmosphere that you have created here. You are extremely talented.

Best of luck!

Oh Snap, there is hope.

I saw silent city a while back and when I found out that it was a part of a bigger movie he wanted to make but no one would fund him, I said SHi#t.

I almost threw in the towel.

I said to my self, if this guy can produce short film of a futuristic movie who's story seems intriguing has a up and coming star attached to it and has made it look this amazing on his own buck, how could studios or investors not want to fund him? if he can't get funded, then how will I, who I don't believe I can produce a film like Silent City any time soon.

But now this news about his directorial debut has restored hope in the universe. :)

Congrats Ruari and Good luck.
