The Shining Redux

That was the funniest **** I've seen in a while. It's amazing what a little editing and voice-over can do. I'm sure Stanley Kubrick might have even gotten a little chuckle out of it.

Hilarious! Just as I remember the movie--only funnier. :)

Drew--I don't think Kubrick is laughing at all, not even cracking a smile, in fact.

Awesome; some of the coolest shite I've seen RICH. ****..........

The power of Cinema right there. Cut it this way; cut it that way. Change the score.....

And its a family film. Thats it; I'm re-cutting PESTILENCE into a lesbian discovery film right now.

someone needs to email this link to Nicholson. this was so dam good. I just saw docu recently on editing and one them said that editing is all about manipulation, well here it is.

its pretty amazing what something can look like taken completely out of context.......so awesome!

I checked this out late last night, but didn't post anything. Lest peeps think I didn't enjoy it, here's my obligatory lol. LOL! :)

Mine too. LOL.

Oh My God!

It must be the "feel good movie of the year".

If that's not the ultimate lesson in editing and setting the tone of a film...I don't know what is.

Instead of the scariest film of all time (IMHO), it played out like a trailer for Jerry Maguire!

Wow, I just found these last night. It has been really getting around. The Shining one is by far the best though. Really does show the power of editing.

I watched it last night with my wife and nearly lost it. GREAT! The end shot where Jack's wife kisses him then transition to the title was fantastic. And the fact that they dropped the 'the' in 'the Shining' made it that feel good movie of the year.
