The Share Thingie

[GenJerDan]

Hey website guy, could you move that Share thingie somewhere to the left or right or bottom or something? Every time the mouse passes over it on the way back up top, the site freezes for like 7 seconds while it refreshes. I'm never sure if I clicked the forum link or not, waiting.

I've been thinking of opening a thread about this...you beat me to it... whenever I go over it it stays there until I click on it. It is a pain in the ass..... anyway, whoever is the responsible for that please, if it is possible and if everyone agrees, change it to somewhere in the bottom of the thread, so that when it opens it doesn't obscure the posts.

Thank you!

I second that.

Good suggestion.

Hmmm. Never even noticed it before today; guess I don't run into it.

It doesn't seem to hang up for me.

maybe it's the browser? go chrome!

Nah..it's because it's going off-site and security settings are probably making sure "addthis.com" is not a phishing site first.

Or just a delay because it *is* going off-site in general. Gotta do another lookup and such.

^^makes sense.

i tried googling, but don't see anything relevant so far.

i think the widget is called "AddThis"

I agree that it's annoying. Clicking on an open area outside of it causes it to disappear.

doesn't slow me down too much but very annoying
