The SGpro footage thread.

Yeah, its strange, when your inside the adapter looses so much light the image is pretty dark, but when your outside or use any additional light its suddenly bright enough.

Very nice gadget...

Man, these videos look freaking awesome. I don't understand how come they are not on display at the SGpro website.

Hi,

Mainly because they are test clips. We mostly try to showcase finished projects on the websites example footage. We have the SGpro's forum for users to share their tests and to discuss.

Oo i was going to ask you Wayne, when screwing the 72mm ring onto the camera, do I loosten the grub screws, then slide the adapter up to the lens and turn the ring to screw it onto the lens? it seems like a good way to strip the cameras thread, so I have since started to remove the ring from the flip unit completely, then screw that onto the camera then side the two parts together, similar to the way the un flipped version fits together...

Which is the correct way?

Wow, some really nice footage. Really liked that footage, Tim. Those test shots look pretty polished as well. Makes me more excited to pick up an SGpro. Its too bad noone had one at the DVXuser meeting last night. Would have liked to see one in person.

Wayne, what happened to the lead times for your units? It went from 1 week to Feb 29th? That right?

Second method is correct, same as with the non flip. Screw the connector onto your cam first.

The last of that batch was sold, so the lead times are adjusted for the next batch.

Hey Wayne, Im loving the SgPro! so great! cant wait to go HD with it! Feel free to host anything you want from me, me stuff is your stuff. Maybe the first day stuff to show how easy it is to use it, go those first images with the SGpro within 15min of open the freight package.

I screwed up and used Itunes files, let me host some .Mov instead and make it easier on everyone.

For now if you want these films, people have been getting luck from the threads in the DVX footage category. seems to be the same links.... Try these, these can only be viewd with Itunes or quicktime, and maybe VLC...
