'The Same Old Line' - A short film set in a factory. Have a wee look.

This film was made at the end of 2006 as yet another film school assignment. We were each given 3 hours in a studio, a crew of about 20 people and two actors to create a short three minute scene. 'The Same Old Line' was my attempt.

Penny, an assembly line worker in a doll factory, announces to her colleague Andrea that today will be last working before she embarks on her new, more exciting, life.

Any feedback would be much appreciated!

thought I'd give you some feedback-

I really liked the lighting, specifically the background factory lighting. The cool colors gave a realistic and relaxing view to the shot.
The acting was pretty good as well. It left me wondering if Penny would be back the next day for work or not.
Good length as well, not to long or short for the content.

Agreed with Eduardo on the lighting and acting. Both good.

I thought the "people walk by the camera and then cut closer" didn't really work for me here.

Generally thought it was pretty boring. Jokes were kind of funny, but nothing great. Then having such standard framing choices didn't help give it energy.

I would say this is a very safe film to make. Nothing really wrong with it, but nothing too creative either.
