This is a performance style video, the background was pre-rendered to the music and then intercut with the live footage.
A DJI Ronin was used for this to allow movement between band members and around them, I guess you could have done similar with a steadicam too. The camera was a GH3 with an SLR Magic 25mm T0.95. Lighting with coloured gels was used as well as a projector, the location was an old mill.
