Portland represent!

Looks cool Patrick! Can't wait to see your magical DP touch. :D

Thanks! It was a ton of fun doing this project with everyone that was involved. Got it all shot in two days, with about 2 hours of extra shooting outside of those days. Maybe you'll recognize some of the locations?

I like the poster and the grab. Looks like a good one! Just from all the threads, it really looks like it's going be a nice bunch of films this go-around.

Note to everybody in the Portland/Vancouver area... take advantage of Patrick before he wises up and starts charging people 5 grand a day. The guy has chops!

Congrats Patrick- I'm looking forward to seeing the final product. I enjoyed hanging out on set- this should be a good film. :)

Greenscreen on the go.

Even movie guns are loud. This is our little garage greenscreen setup.

Here we are in the street for some natural light.

Hey! Indie filmmaking at its finest! Stuff like this should inspire anybody who wants to go out and make films just to get off your ass and do it. Hats off to you!

I look forward to watching your film, guys.

Hey, thanks for the good words. Tim Smale, our resident gun/blood guy helped us out a lot. He had just gotten some new weaponry, and we got to use it on this shoot. He also does really great compressed air squibs. Check him out at:

Hey 500 Cuts...who are you?

That's Co, the creative mind and shepherd behind 500cuts. He wrote "The Robin" and did a lot of the leg work in getting things going/done...thanks Co! Jason our director also has a profile somewhere on here, but I'm not sure what his username is. Talented individuals indeed!

Lovin' this PDX contingent in the fest. Makes me a little homesick.

Lookin' forward to the product. Good luck in the fest!

Portland definitely has some great film makers, and also some GREAT animators. It's tough to make it look like a gritty, dirty, unhappy city though because it's so pretty.
