The right setting for importing 30P

So I have been importing my footage shot in 30P at 30 frames progressive in the settings of FCP.
But it has come to my attention that I should just be importing it using the standard 29.97 DV NTSC setting.
Is this true?
 
FCP menu> easy setup> DV NTSC> done.

So yes, standard 29.97 is what you want. I don't even think you CAN import at exactly 30fps in FCP. People just refer to 29.97 as 30fps, and 23.97 as 24fps.
