The "Puss N Boots - NOT!" movie is completed - Joy!

The movie was shot on a single Panasonic AG-DVX100 camera and was edited in Sony Vegas 6. We used two wireless microphones. The music score was composed using commercially purchased royalty-free music tracks.

Making this movie was a real learning experience and I am pleased to show it for free on the Internet. I hope everyone enjoys it.

Next week we pack up the apartment and return to the States for some vacation before heading to Kuwait in November.
 
To tell you the truth I stopped watching this less than a quarter the way through...I would tell you what I liked about it but I'd be lying so I'll be honest and this kind of thing will help you in the future. First thing. When you use Vegas to edit. You dont have to use all the fancy things that are there (the preset text and transitions) the are corny and quite a bit distracting. Also along with that I would suggest getting better actors, now I know that is hard being low budget and such but surely you could have found someone better than the woman who played the cat. I'm sorry if my comment is coming off as rude. I don't mean it to be, it's just like you said, this is a learning experience and you cannot learn if you dont get out there and make mistakes. You are respected for that trust me...there are just a lot of things you still need to learn. I'm not saying I'm a pro but I was just telling you some of the things I picked up on.
 
um. this is the kind of stuff that gets posted places like break or ebaums for people to laugh at. Couldnt watch more than 2 mins of it. I would have given you credit for making a clip that appeals to children however the horrible script contained corny jokes that would have gone over kids head anyways. I also dont want to come off as a total jerk but id say your going to have a hard time getting people to watch this. Write it off as a good learning experience.

I appreciate your candor. The movie was intended to be corny, and to be appreciated by a more mature audiance.
