I think some of the aliasing may be enhanced when transcoding. Did you have any changes when using cineform Kholi?

I'm definitely interested in Cineform NeoScene as well. Seems to produce smaller file sizes than ProRes. Also, from what I hear, the transcoding is faster and the pull down removal more efficient.
ALL true. Cineform NeoScene rocks
Also, Hunter... what's your current thought on Crop Factor? How much more telephoto is your 50mm Nikon over the 50mm point on your Kit Lens zoom?
Imaging format is what determines crop factor, not the lens. Any 50mm lens that has a target large enough to cover the sensor on the GH1 will have exactly the same FOV as the standard GH1 10-1 kit lens. The same holds true at every focal length.
Hope this helps.

That's what I'm trying to figure out.

If a 50mm Canon is the same as the 50mm point on the Kit Lens.
If that's true, then doesn't that make the Tokina 11-16, a DX Format Lens, an 11mm on the GH-1 with 11mm FOV. I really could just solve this in one stroke if I had my damned adapters already. Ugh.
