The Ore

Great, glad to hear it!

By the way, we've updated TheOre.net with a little forum of its own - I'd recommend visiting. Cheers!

PS: moderators, let me know if it's not cool to link to external forums. don't want to be breakin the rules :)

Man... I'm not even going to go into detail. I'll let everyone get their copy and watch.

All I gotta say is Sam and Jesse are the real deal.

Thanks Kholi, your opinions mean a lot to us. We opened a reviews section on TheOre.net forums in case you'd like to honor us with some details. :)

Definitely. I've registered and I'll post up a detailed review Minus spoilers tonight while I wash clothes. I want to check it out on a television as well.

The tutorials are soooo bad ass. I FINALLY understand the purpose of those freaking dots and how they work! It's sooo freaking simple, man.

I'll divert questions to the forum as well, but for sake of knowing: Did you do greenscreen work in 720p?

I just got through watching and I've got to say you guys did a great job creating a world of your own. I'll have to give this one a

Thanks very much - yes, we shot the entire thing 720pn. After compositing in HD space, I'm never ever going back to SD... the difference was night and day.

Reason I asked was because it's been recommended a few times to shoot 1080 or 480 DVCPro50 for Greenscreen. Apparently you didn't have problems with 720pn at all, though.

Nope no problems. DVCPro50 is good because of the enhanced color space, but I've had better luck with 720p. I haven't shot much 1080p so I can't vouch for it. We stuck with 720 because there was some overcranking involved, especially in the flashbacks.

Sweeeeet. Will you guys put up a tutorial on THE ORE forums on how to use an iPod as a storage/offload device in conjunction with the HVX200? And how to get it back to being an iPod?

Sounds like a viable "in the mountains" solution.

Mine hasn't come in either, but I'm not going to read the reviews, I got to see
it for myself. I hope mine comes in before Brandons - ha.
