The on/off switch

Can someone suggest how I can slot back in the on/off switch on the back of my dvx 100 A,

When I say slot back, I mean put back, the switch that you turn on and off the camera with has fallen off, and it really is a big problem because it means I can only record using the record button on the handle.

Sounds like you have a serious problem there. I had a similar problem with my first DV camera, I tried fixing it myself and that was the end of the story. My point is, if you have warranty and want to keep using your camera, (assuming you don't know what you are doing) do not try to fix it yourself and send it to a technician. If you play around with it, the warranty may not cover the cost of fixing it.
