The problem I have with fog is that it's rare to have it show up when I have time to shoot it so yesterday was a bonus for me.

I like the muted colors. #3 looks like you could dig in and shoot for a while. I hardly use my 500 anymore and almost forgot the great images it delivers...Nice stuff!

Oh you completely could. I did a few from within this building, but the wide shot for some reason was always my favorite. Something between the open over, overexposed window, eeiry colors... the eye just keeps moving throughout.

I'll try to upload the others from the room which were some more macro stuff as well.
 
Tired of the fog so I'm going to spend a bit with my first strobe still life shots. Olympus E-3, 45-150 lens. Fl-50r and Fl-36r flash units fired remotely.
Top shot had a blue gel on main flash.

OMG!!! you had WB on auto?!?! You blasphemous infidel! :)

It looks cool like that, eerie... but I still like the daylight look of the other one that looks sort of like it a bit better.

Thanks, I put a blue gel on the key light for that one. I like it better too. I have to be housebound for the next while so I'll be trying some more soon. I didn't think I'd have as much fun shooting that as I did. Only problem was putting the house back together:)
 
Another flash test, boring probably. Trying to not overpower the candle. Probably should have dialed one of the flashes down, maybe the right one.

Yet another test but not happy with DOF...And oranges suck!! Every time I put a freakin orange into the mix, it wants to glow like the SUN!
