The old 95% thing. Why is it happening to the AF100

I have a production there I have to copy 15gb to a card in B-slot in the camera.

It rushes to 95% and hangs for 45 minuets and then its finished. :undecided

Is it the same for all cameras, can there be a firmware update for it?

It is doing a validation check. Works the same in all cameras.

Gee, I do my validation check in the mirror, and it happens rather quickly... :grin:

No seriously, I just copied my first card in camera- it didn't hang for 45 minutes, maybe 15-20?

Not something you want to do when time is limited...

Then buy more/larger cards. Seriously, they're dang cheap and if time is limited, do your dupes at the end of the day or during lunch breaks.


Assuming you get to take any lunch breaks, of course....

It is safer to back up your cards immediately, in case you have a corrupted sd card.
