I just received word I will be getting my AF100 this week from Texas Media Systems.

It ships today!

Going to look at the AF101 tomorrow and do some tests, if l like it l can have one by the 18th so UK supply seems OK. The only lens they have on it at present is nikons!
 
I finally have one headed my way. HB Communications ended up having an extra and was very helpful in getting it sent out to me.

Indeed. I think I have all but given up on getting on in Canada any time soon, a shame really. What have we received so far? like 3 or 4 cameras?

I've been meaning to buy one of these:

yeah vcfilms, i agree. my patience is almost gone. i have no idea what is going on with canadian orders, doesnt make sense to me. a camera that is released worldwide should be in fact released everywhere. nothing we can do but wait, i hope it is soon so i can get shooting soon.

Hi Andrew, who was that with?

I have one on order for arrival 27th Jan and I know they had a few units still available in that batch. Consensus from others I spoke to was end of Jan for next delivery so 18th sounds a little earlier.
 
Mine has arrived at the agent in New Zealand (today) but despite my excitement...I am sticking to "the plan".

My AC and I will be doing a test with a demo one tomorrow.
 
Since I have had my AF100 for a week now, I thought it only right to at least share a picture of my beauty in front of part of my synth racks.

That's the 7D kit lens with a HK EOS->m4/3 adapter. Just using it wide open for now.

Haha, well at least so far I have a unique AF100 setting shot :) Plus, my synths LOVE the attention. I've been spending so much time with my camera gear and less time with them, they are jealous :)

The other Big NYC retailer completly dropped the ball.
Moved on to a boutique shop out west to get mine.
Just horsesh*t!
 
I don't think anyone dropped the ball, all the resellers are in the same boat. We order a number of cameras and we get what we get. Our company ordered a very large order, and we were the first to ship in the US. As far as we know we have shipped just as many as any US retailer, and we stayed long hours over the holiday to make sure it happened on time. The camera is very in-demand, and our pre-order list started in September on this forum. So please believe we are doing our very best to get the cameras out there. The simple truth is that if we do not have them then we cannot ship them to you.

Jan, can we get a clone of you in Canada please? We aren't getting any cameras up here, I think something like 3-5 total for all of Canada
