After some tinkering and tankering the final AFM (American Film Market) promo for the film is up online.

You can check it out here:

It's a bit different than the other one or ones ya mighta seen.

All the best,

Ramzi Abed

P.S. All the music you hear is original music composed for the film by David J (of Bauhaus and Love & Rockets)... the budget for entire feature was $100.00, and was done under the SAG Limited Exhibition agreement. It was filmed over a period of a little over a year, but it took only 3 days to film the entire film. Shooting ratio was 1:1.

The movie is gonna be about 95-100 minutes.

All the best,

Ramzi Abed

Ramzi,
Much better than the previous one.
The only things is, you should have warned this clip is RATED R. The nudity and violence can be a bit much for sensitive people, there fore we should be warned about the content.

there shouldn't be any nudity or violence in there. We don't have anything like that in the movie.

P.S. There was a typo in the first post. We shot the film in two 8 hour days, not 3. The third was just the DJ party we had with the clown singers and the bellydancing twins. The exact budget of the film was just under $100, probably about 80 bucks.

First, there is definitely nudity in there. There is a brief topless shot during a transition about 40% of the way in.

Second, this trailer is much better than the last one you posted.

Lastly, this is a very interesting mix of shots. Some look beautifullly lit and others are a bit flat. Same with the sound, some is great and other parts sound sort of hollow.

Still, it is an intriguing trailer.

Best of luck with it,

Chris

Thanks fellas! It's an amateur production, so it's riddled with problems. None of it is color corrected at all, so hopefully it'll look better. Not too bad for 80 bones though, I hope... If it cost a cent over 100, it wouldn't be worth it.

I can't believe there's nudity, because I never directed any in the movie. I think that might be the flesh colored bra the girl was wearing, but maybe I wasn't paying attention.

Thanks again, y'all.

All the best,

Ramzi

P.S. The film has not been mixed yet, so the sound is very rough as is most of the movie. Like I said though, it's a personal experiment. We might submit it to film festivals or show it to people, but it will most likely be a film that I will just share with family and friends. A home video basically.

btw I forgot to ask or mention it... If any of you are here in Los Angeles, our composer David J's garage band called Bauhaus is playing at a club here in LA called the Wiltern Theater for the next 3 nights. If you like dark music especially "rock and roll", then I suggest you go.

Info on the shows and Bauhaus is at http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/09003AE895F04AF8?artistid=967677&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=60

also more info at http://www.thewiltern.com/events.aspx

David's personal site is at www.davidjonline.com

Btw there's info on our micro-micro-micro-budget amateur home movie experiment at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0372005/

All the best and a million thanks again!!!

Best Wishes,

Ramzi

Great teaser cant wait to see the movie.
As for the nudity and violence man you guys from th U.S always held down buy that kinda stuff man I would have not even thought of that.
o well

btw

btw

thanks logic... and i do agree... and btw i've been kinda joking about some things obviously... the budget and the time it took to shoot the film... i'm self-deprecating and silly as a billy goat, but really the film was shot over 34 days, and filmed over the course of a year (we filmed two weeks consecutive and a lot of the other days were all over the place)... also the original DP passed away before doing much on the film, although he was in some ways the impetus for the project... also the budget i'm not supposed to comment on, but I WISH it was only 80 bucks... if you add some zeros and then add some 1s and 2s you'll be closer to the real budget... the clue is SAG Limited Exhibition, because it's for projects made for under 200k, but above 10k... work with the 80 and 100 dollar reference, add some 0s, and you'll have an idea. And again the film is 80% DVX100A, and 20% Varicam, with a sequence in 35 and some black and white super 8 stuff interspersed...

I love this project, yet it is also the final nail in my coffin. I feel like a 200 year old man, and I look it these days.

All the best and thanks again,

-Ramzi Abed

P.S. If you like creepy and extra-sensory music of a cinematic and imaginative nature, check out our combo, Elektracity at www.myspace.com/elektracity

P.P.S. I was not joking about David though or his band... you should go see 'em... Bauhaus is legendary, and David's a genius. Most people don't realize that he's the one who wrote the song, "Bela Lugosi Is Dead"...

Anyhow, happy halloween... more clues cometh... enjoy
