Hey everyone..thanks for taking the time to watch my film...
I'm 16 and I directed this short for an English project. I shot the whole thing with my good friend Kyle in just one day - using teenagers as actors, and anything around the house as costumes...I'm pretty happy, considering the circumstances and time limitations in which we shot under, as to how the movie came out...
The project was to create a "new world" in 1692, modeling colonial America that so many people from various nations sought refuge in. We had to establish a reason why the settlers left there native country, in this case Britain, and the incentive for coming to this New World. One of the students in our group had the last name of Wong, so hence the title 'The New Wong'.
I'd appreciate both negative and positive criticism on the cinematography!
