The New Steadicam Line

I know Pookie can answer these questions best, but whoever can, THANKS!

Been to the new steadicam site. Great new line of products.

I know how much the flyer model is because it is in current production, but what about the Archer or the Clipper2?

How much for the G-40 or G-50 arm ONLY?
How much for the HD 8.4" monitor they got?
Will they have all these (msrp) prices up soon? Anyone know specifics?

Window shopping right now, but your info is appreciated!

The $8000 price for the G-50 arm is a little low for the street price actually, figure closer to $10,000.
The G-50 is very impressive with 32" of vertical travel, adjustable ride, and the arm can be adjusted from a 50 lb load down to 10 lbs.
The arm itself is quite light itself, a very nice fact.
The HD UltraBrite as I recall, is in the $9000 range.

Email Frank Rush at Tiffen yesterday. He told me that they don't have a price on just the arm just yet. He said in the next 30 days or so.
He didn't give me a ballpark either.
Where are these ballpark prices coming from?

there is plenty of, shall we say, "chit chat" that occurs at NAB when companies wish to hear
reactions to their purported pricing structure. plus, it's much easier to get something out of a
product rep when you're in front of them at an industry tradeshow than from an unsolicited email. when they see you at a tradeshow you're taken more seriously. make sense?

also, pookie is "in the know" as they say in the "biz" so, that helps.
