GH2 The new ISO 12,800 hack...

... Is mind boggling. It is literally like Infra Red.

Shot variously between F0.95 and F4 on the GH2 with AVCHD at 44Mbit, all ISO 12,800. Where's the noise!! It has such a fine grain and tons of detail survives.

I will shoot some in colour, though I much prefer the black & white mode

It looks fine in black and white, it won't look nearly as nice in color.

I agree Logan. Street lights would be the dominating hue, the noise would be multiple colours, the saturation of objects would be grey. Same goes for our own eyes so you can't really blame the camera. I prefer black and white when shooting at night.

We (almost) dont need neat video (jut exposure to the right).
A quick test , with hacked GH2 , ISO 12800 and only 44Mbit.
In room , there were almost any light...

Just AVCHD 24H bitrate to 44Mbit
