I'm in a directing class right now and we have to shoot a scene from a movie every week. Its crazy, not alot of time. I just did one from "The Man Who Fell To Earth" which was directed by Nick Roeg and written by Paul Mayersberg. Its a wacked out movie and I kinda changed the context a bit, sorry Mr. Roeg...

All DVX100A footage, excuse the audio, only 2 1/2 hours to shoot....

I hope you enjoy,

I'm not familiar with the original movie, but your time crunch isn't obvious. I checked out your Wish teaser and I thought that was real slick. What settings did you use to get the desaturated look?

I'm also curious where you're studying. Keep up the good work.

Actually Wish was shot on 16mm with a really old Arri S, using tungsten film with an additional 80A filter and skip bleach process. You could probably get close to a skip bleach look with a DVX but I really don't know how. Sorry.

I study at Brooks Institue of Photography. Oh and the original movie "man who fell to earth" was not a farce. It was David Bowie playing the lead role, dead serious.

Thanks for watching....... ::)

When I first started watching, I thought it was going to be real cheesy – bad acting, but I quickly realized it was good actors rehearsing a cheesy part. They did a great job.

Good job, it was laugh out loud funny. ;D
