Stolen Light Films is pleased to announce the completion of the independent feature film The Legend Trip. The story follows a group of graduate students investigating the allegedly haunted Buth House and it's tragic history. The film will have it's premier screening on August 25th at 7pm at the Times Cinema in Milwaukee. An hour prior to showtime the cast and crew will be present at the gala event with proceeds from the screening going to Camp Heartland benefiting children and their families living with HIV and Aids. Directed by Jason Satterfield and starring Mark Metcalf (Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Seinfeld), Ben Keepers (3055 Jean Leon), Hisonni Johnson (Mind Of Mencia), Tina Ona Paukstelis (Aswang), Tom Lodewyck (Side Effects), Neil Willenson (Dillinger), and a host of talented newcomers, score composed by Leigh Phillips (Omen III: The Final Conflict, Public Access).
The film was shot entirely on the Panasonic DVX-100A with the Red Rock Micro adaptor using Nikon lenses. It will be projected digitally (more details on projector specs to follow, but I understand that it looks just phenomenal on the screen). The completion of the film illustrates what can be accomplished with a very modest budget and a little determination thanks to the advancement of low cost digital technologies. A huge thanks goes out to everyone here on the DVX board also, which we all know is one of the best resources available on the net.
So come out for a good time in support of a good cause, and best of all the Times has booze in the lobby! Just don't miss the movie...
