The Italian Chef

You are right! Sorry

The proverb "revenge is a dish best served cold" is credited to the 18th century novel les Liaisons dangereuses (Dangerous Liaisons), written by the French official and army general Pierre Choderlos de Laclos. Although it never actually appears in the original text.

Does this mean your food stylist is serving cold spaghetti? How about a nice summer pasta salad? Good reference footnote--always wondered where that quote came from!

Nice meeting you as well Noel.

Cold spaghetti? probably so. lol and if we don't get started with shooting this @)(*(#*$#) film soon then the spaghetti is gonna get even colder.

Couldnt shoot the last two weekends-- Tore my kitchen completely apart and had to get it back together before my wife went nuts. The remodeling took alot longer than planned.

Didn't shoot this weekend - Easter and everybody had plans.\

Can't shoot next weekend - Leaving for Las Vegas (NAB)

Geeze!!!! time is running out!!! TIme to put this puppy in overdrive.

Here's a few shots from behind the scenes of our first day of shooting. Our first two locations fell through and had to make alot of last minute revisions, but hey, at least we didn't give up. More to come later, including image stills from actual footage. We will be shooting exteriors on our 2nd day of shooting, next week.

Just wrapped up the last days of shooting this past weekend. Shot in the woods, on the Suanne River in N. Florida. Anybody know what chiggars are? Me and the crew got COVERED in them. I have over 60 bites on my body and they itch like living HELL!!! I haven't had these since I was a young kid growing up in Georgia and we would go out into the woods.

Anyway, it's coming along nicely (the movie that is).
I'll post more pics tomorrow....Stay Tuned

Love the shots I'm seeing so far. Chiggers are awful. That is one of the things I love about living in the Northwest. We don't have chiggers and I have only seen a tick once or twice. Oh, no red ants either!

Well its finally done and over with, and the film has been uploaded!
Considering that I almost abandoned the ideal of doing this film (several times) because of actors quitting on me and locations falling through. AND the fact that it was pretty much GORILLA FILMMAKING all the way....it didn't turn out too bad. I do not, nor at any point did I ever, expect to win this fest. Having said that, I'm quite happy with the whole experience.

All the people involved with the project really like it. I want to thank them ALL for working with me and helping me with this vision. I couldn't have done it without them THANKS GUYS!!
