Haha, yea I was rotating it while recording, so I got a little fingertip footage in there...

I left the UV on and just stacked the polarizer on top, and had no problems with vignetting at all. It is a little tricky sometimes to get them apart though, to get the polarizer off.
 
Are there any polarizers that do not need to be rotated and adjusted to each shot a automatic selfadjusting polarizer?
 
well i think that once you find the right rotation, then it would work for every shot...
 
No. They can screw directly on to the front of your DVX without a mattebox (unless, of course, you get a 4x4 or something).
 
but what if i wanted to still use my panny wide angle can it still screw on or do i def need a matt box to use both?
 
i'm not sure if or how you could use both, i've never used a matte box.

i guess if there were room behind the filter on a mattebox you might be able to squeeze a wide angle in there, but you'd probably vignette hardcore.
