Thanks once again for all of the advice guys.
I've gone for the Rode wired lav in the end due to the micon 5 adaptors for it which make it very versatile.
I have different mics for audio podcasts but the Rode lav will be used for video interviews and bits of footage that I need to present to camera to put on my site.
As soon as I get it I'll put some samples up so people can check it out (and help me make it sound better! Hahaha).
I'm looking forward to learning how to get the best out of audio. It's a world I have only been researching for just over a week and boy is it complex!
