Hey guys this is my first post,My name is Miguel Ortega
I just recently finished a short film with my partner Tran MA called The Green Ruby Pumpkin. It's a magical short that captures the spirit of Halloween.
This was a passion project created by us, 2 Senior VFX artists formerly from Digital Domain. This film exhibits a stylized world inspired by mixed aesthetics such as cgi and 2d animation. It features a variety of characters & creatures.
This was an independent low budget project shot in our living room using green screen, 98% CG environments. We would be honored if you could take a couple of minutes to view our film

(I also posted this in the halloween user project) Ive been an active viewer for years but decided to take the plunge now and share with you my latest halloween short film.
Dont let the Thumbnails fool you, this is live action, mixed with CGI and 2D animation

There is the making of as well, as you can see this was all very low budget, but alot of love was put into this.
hope you guys enjoy it.

Welcome to DVXuser, Miguel.

That was extremely good! Fantastic work. The VFX breakdown was very interesting. As said, nothing looked low budget whatsoever. Don't be surprised if you don't take the cake in HalloweenFest.

I also see that you worked on Thor with Digital Domain. I'm taking a shot in the dark as to where you're located, but if you're at their Vancouver location, you don't happen to know anybody from GFZ, do you?
