"The Glitch" (FCP/P2) appearing in footage NOW, but wasn't present one week ago???

I imported a bunch of stuff from P2 card onto my system a couple weeks ago, have been editing a few particular takes, in the timeline. No problems. Editing some stuff TODAY, that same footage, in the same timeline, the same exact clip that had no problems before - now all of the sudden "the glitch" with colored pixels randomly throughout is appearing in this footage that previously did not exhibit this.

How is this possible? Has anyone else seen of or heard of this??

No, they are random in my footage

they're not colored purple pixels or something like that? that happened to my friend. Time for a new logic board.
